Hike at Burke Lake Park

Join NOVA RPCV and RPCV/W Hikes for a hike at Burke Lake Park on Saturday, April 24th 10:00 AM- 2PM. We are excited to get out again and see many of you hiking with us! This is a COVID safe event so we strongly suggest that you utilize a mask and social distance while hiking on the trail. 

Burke Lake Park is a Fairfax County Park located at 7315 Ox Rd, Fairfax Station, VA 22039. We will meet at 10:00 AM near the boat launch area. After proceeding through the main entrance, turn right at the intersection and then go straight to the large parking lot and boat launch area. We will meet in front of the lake at the boat launch area.   

The hike around Burke Lake is 4.7 miles and may take at least 3 hours. The trail is mostly flat but can be muddy if it has rained recently. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and packing a lunch and water. We will stop about halfway around the lake for lunch. There are some portable bathrooms but you might want to also bring toilet paper and hand sanitizer.
